Moorland is blend of alpaca and wool, hand dyed for you here in Moscow, ID. It feels a bit crunchy from the Shetland wool, but still has all the loft and softness we love from alpaca. A beautiful blend of Blue-Faced Leicester and Shetland wools plus alpaca.
This is a hand washable blend perfect for larger projects like sweaters and blankets. We are knitting Moorland up into all sorts of textured patterns and cables! This yarn is a sport weight, but we also carry Moorland in a DK weight if you want something thicker.
Put up: 383 yards (350m) /3.5 oz (100g) per twisted hank, wind before using
Contents: 40% BFL, 40% Shetland, 20% Alpaca
Gauge: 22 sts/4" on US 5-7 needles
Care: hand wash finished garment gently with wool wash in tepid water, lay flat to dry
