Ultra Alpaca is a worsted weight, 50-50 blend of Peruvian wool and superfine alpaca. It’s a shop favorite, especially for sweaters. The colors are beautiful rich heathers, the alpaca lends a nice halo, and it’s so soft and cuddly. Tip: this can be a great dupe for any pattern that calls for holding mohair and another yarn together – the alpaca lends a similar halo without having to worry about holding two yarns together!
Content: 50% super fine alpaca, 50% Peruvian wool
Put up: 219 yards/100g in a twisted hank, wind before using.
Gauge: 20 sts/4" on US 8 needles
Care: hand wash in cool water, lay flat to dry.
