This yarn is a loosely plied fingering weight with a crunchy texture and a beautiful heathery color palette that loves colorwork. It will bloom and soften beautifully with washing and wearing. It’s made from two native Portuguese sheep breeds - Bordaleira da Serra da Estrela and Portuguese Merino.
Content: 100% Portuguese wool
Put up: 240 yards (220 m) per 50g center-pull ball, no winding needed
Gauge: 24-32 stitches x 30-40 rows = 10cm on US 3-6 (3-4 mm) needles
Care: wash gently in cool water, lay flat to dry
